Founded by Rodrigo Barreda, Diana Ramirez and Angelica Reyes in 2010, the mission of the collective was to establish a physical space where Latin American art and art history could be showcased, interpreted, taught and practiced. In 2012 the collective formally integrated as LACAP’s governing Board of Directors and the project has since then developed into LACAP’s Sur Gallery project.
